"Wow, how did you get a job like that?"  Like most people I meet on the set and elsewhere, I used to have no idea that the job of Studio Teacher even existed.

That all changed in the Fall of 2002, when I was teaching 8th Grade English in Los Angeles and one of my students took an extended absence to star in a movie.  After coordinating with his Studio Teacher during the following months, I knew it was the job for me and decided to go for it!

Two years later, after earning an additional teaching credential and my Studio Teacher's license, I landed my first studio teaching job on the theatrical production of "Peter Pan."  Since then, I've met many amazing kids, parents and co-workers, and I always appreciate that my job is both fun and rewarding.

During my time as a studio teacher, I've met many other studio teachers who are helpful, responsible, and pleasant to work with.  In the event that I'm not available for your production, or if you need multiple studio teachers due to a large number of children on the set, I will be happy to find and recommend teachers who are available.
